Our Vision

PEAP by Hemtech epitomises the next generation in apparel production. Our mission is to create a platinum level eco facility that addresses the key challenges associated with large-scale clothing manufacturing and to introduce new concepts and innovations to its sector.

We aim to maintain unrivalled levels of quality and standards making sure all our products and services are delivered to the highest calibre.

We specialise in Suits, Blazers, formal trousers, jackets casual wear and woven items as well as to client specific designs and specifications.

Using our knowledge and expertise we endeavour to tackle issues like the carbon footprint and demonstrate our resolve towards a sustainable, ethical and environmentally sound future.

Our ethos is to strive to create, educate, contribute and disseminate. Using these qualities we will become a precedent for change and prosperity in Bangladesh.

Hemtech Apparels has been trading since 1996 with clients such as M&S, Next, Evans, Karen Millan, Dorothy Perkins, George, and NHS just to name a few. In 2003 it introduced its sister company Nazihar Fashions and have factories based in Dhaka and Chittagong.

We will use Solar PV energy to power production and contribute towards infrastructure. Part of the vision for PEAP is to develop a 10MW Solar PV plant to power the facility and provide much-needed energy to the local power grid. With this type of setup, PEAP will become one of the world’s most energy efficient apparels manufacturing units.

Supreme working conditions and facilities above the industry standard. One of PEAPs biggest focuses will be around employee satisfaction and standards. We will also have and on-site clinic and pharmacy which will be available to all employees and dependents at subsidised costs.

On-going training for employees to help them excel and achieve. Schooling will also be available for children on the premise. Parents now longer need to choose between survival and education for a better future. We will also be providing Apprenticeship schemes to help develop young professionals and inspire others to follow this model.

Nazihar Farms will provide seasonal fresh organic food, grown locally. Our Water Treatment Plant will also supply clean water. These will be available to us for use in our canteen. Employees can also buy their groceries directly from us at a subsided cost while ensuring the highest quality produce.

Noakhali Science and Technology University

Hemtech partners with the local Noakhali Science and Technology University, one of the top institutes in the country, to introduces a training and apprenticeship scheme to help educate and provide an on-job experience to graduates.

The project hopes to introduce schemes which are not readily available in Bangladesh and will give the students a first-hand insight into the innovations and technologies that will be used during this project.

Much of the planning and implementation of PEAP will require recruiting overseas expertise. Students will witness first hand these advances and innovations allowing them to learn, contribute and communicate these messages back to society and infrastructure.

This will also allow Hemtech to outsource their expertise to other business and institutions who wish to use the sustainability model for the inception of their own projects.

Experts of different fields will also be giving guest lectures when they are present. This will help create awareness and understanding as was as provide valuable educational insight.
